Dragoman… Bridging communication gaps

The name, Dragoman, can be traced to the Middle Ages, where a Dragoman served as an interpreter, translator, and official guide between Turkish, Arabic, and Persian-speaking countries and polities of the Middle East and European embassies, consulates, vice-consulates and trading posts. A dragoman had to have a knowledge of Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and European languages.

At Dragoman, the way we view translation stems from our belief that it is a profession that requires credentials and scholarly language training with an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the source language.
